Due diligence analysis
Project description
The project consisted in carrying out a diagnostic analysis (due-diligence) regarding the legal and technical environmental situation of some industrial warehouses, which are the subject of the decision of the European Court of Justice in case C-301/17 from the year 2018 and the evaluation of the conditions for the application of Law 255 /2010 regarding the expropriation for a cause of public utility, necessary to achieve some objectives of national, county and local interest. The 25 waste dumps that are the subject of the program are spread over the entire territory of Romania and are as follows: Turnu SA, Teleorman County; Elnav SA, Galati County; Sometra SA Copșa Mică, Sibiu County; Carom SA, Bacău County; SMR SA, Olt County; Feral SA, Tulcea County; Forever SRL, Hunedoara County; Venus Oilreg SA Refinery, Buzău County; Astra Română SA, Prahova County; Refinery Steaua Română SA, Bucea, Prahova County; Refinery Steaua Română SA, Turnatorie, Prahova County; Neferal SA, Ilfov County; Romplumb SA, Maramureș County; Sinteza Oradea SA (two landfills), Bihor County; Cemtrade SA, landfill C0, Bihor County; Cemtrade SA, landfill C1, C2, C3, Bihor County; Petrol Derna SA, landfill no. 1, Bihor County; Petrol Derna SA, landfill no. 2, Bihor County; Petrolsub SA, Ecodiesel Landfill, Bihor County; Bicapa SA, Mureș County; Carbid Fox SA; Mures County; Saturn SA, Alba County; Someș SA, Cluj County; Ario SA, Bistrita County.
The activities carried out within this project were the following:
- The initial evaluation regarding the environmental technical component and the cadastral situation;
- Detailed analysis of the cadastral situation, carrying out topographical measurements and drafting extrajudicial technical reports for the 25 industrial warehouses subject to analysis;
- Technical environmental analysis for each of the 25 industrial warehouses and preparation of the due-diligence report;
